In The Cage of Etenity

Hello again! Here's todays treat! it's a long story this time that I've been working on for three days. I'm very slow att writing in english, so it has been a long three days for me to complete this story.

This story is probably the darkest one I've ever written. It has no comedy in it, and no love either. It's kind of a sick story with psychological theme. I dreamt of this story (as usual) a few nights ago and wrote it down.

It's about a male model who ends up kidnapped by a psycopath, and becomes haunted by the past. Sounds nice, doesn't it? xD

I hope you enjoy it anyway. You can't have these lovy-dovy stories all the time, right? I'm sorry if any of you feel offended reading it. But it's just a story - remember it. Okay?

Thank you people on my forum (Japan.ifokus.se) who helped me with coming up names to the villain in this story!

(Jeez! I have to dream about some fun stuff next time to compensate the darkness in this story. I feel kind of down after writing this.)

In The Cage of Etenity

“Welcome. Please take a seat”, she said, and Ayase Shuu obeyed and sat down on the leather sofa. “How have you been this last week?” she then asked, and Shuu sighed and looked down at the silver locket in his hand. He always had the locket on him.

“As usual”, he answered quietly.

“You still have those nightmares?” the psychologist asked, but Shuu didn’t really listen and opened the locket and looked at the handsome man in the photo looking back at him with jet-black eyes. The psychologist knew what he was looking at. “Do you still wear that wherever you go?”

Shuu sighed again and closed the locket. He then looked at her hazelnut colored eyes and slowly shook his head.

“I can’t seem to throw it away”, he said sadly and took a tighter grip around the locket which hung around his neck on a long and thin silver chain.

“Wouldn’t it be better to just throw it away? The one in the photo is the reason you’re in this state, is it not?”

“Maybe… But I still can’t do it. I hate him so much for doing all that shit to me, but still I can’t throw it away. I don’t understand it myself.”

“How long has it been? Five or six months now?” she then asked, and Shuu shrugged his shoulders.

“I have no idea. I don’t keep track of the time. I’m too tired. The press is still all over me and I can’t live at my place anymore because of it. They keep bothering me with all these stupid shit questions about what happened. I’m really sick of it.” Shuu looked more tired than ever. He had heavy dark circles under his eyes and his hair wasn’t really taken care off. He also wore baggy clothes in dark colors, and he was thinner than ever before.

The meeting with his psychologist went as usual: They talked about his feelings, thoughts and nightmares, and she tried to help him as good as she could. At the end of the session she wrote a prescription for his medicines. On his way out of the building he stopped at the drugstore close to the entrance and got his antidepressant medicine. Then he took a taxi home to his manager who lived not too far away from the clinic.

When he got “home” he threw himself on the bed in the guestroom and sighed. His only friend and manager were still out working.

Maybe I should get some sleep?, he thought and closed his eyes. Before he knew it he fell asleep.

Ayase Shuu was a 21 year old male model. His golden brown eyes had usually an outstanding charisma and his hair was toned in a dark brown color with blonde highlights. He was an ordinary guy who quickly gained a successful career as a model after he was discovered by the agency when he was still working as a host. His looks and presence in front of the camera gave him a huge fan base and now he was one of the number one models in Japan.

But six months ago he was put through some hardship that turned his life upside down.

It was an ordinary summery Saturday morning at his apartment in Shinjuku. But the peace was disrupted when he suddenly had gotten a call from the police and called to a hearing at the station. When he arrived he learned the cold truth about the girls he had hooked up with for one-night stands during the last two months: They had all been brutally killed. The police was first accusing him for the deeds, but because they didn’t have any leads or evidence they had to let him go.

That night Shuu had been sitting at his apartment white as a ghost. All he could think of was the girls who had lost their lives. And for what? For having had sex with him? But why? Who could have done something that terrible?

On Monday morning he was escorted to his job by bodyguards hired by the agency, and they were with him whenever he needed to go somewhere. He knew he had to be protected. Being famous was like a double edged sword. While you could earn a big amount of money and live a carefree life, it could also attract dangerous people. But Shuu couldn’t take the constant surveillance and made one stupid move that he would end up regretting for the rest of his life.

He had been at one of the most famous clubs in Shinjuku and came out of the nightclub after having too much to drink. He staggered to an alley to vomit, and after that he leaned his back against the opposite wall and took some deep breaths. He was really nauseous.

He had run away from his bodyguards while they were leaving the studio after finishing a photo shoot. He wasn’t all happy about the escapade, but he couldn’t take the constant presence of the bodyguards. So he did what “he had to do”.

He started to feel a little better he suddenly saw how his vision darkened and he felt how he fell and hit the ground before he lost his consciousness.

He woke up in a lit room and the light from the ceiling stung his eyes. He wasn’t feeling that good and the light made his head ache. He opened his eyes and held his hand in front of his face to hide his sensitive eyes from the light.

“Manabu?” he asked, but his manager didn’t reply.

He slowly looked around the room and realized he wasn’t at Manabu’s place. The room was kind of sterile and there was only a bookshelf and desk – and then the bed he lay on. The walls had a white color and there were no windows.

“You’ve woken up?” he heard a man’s voice say, and Shuu directed his eyes to a tall man who stood in the doorway.

The man had jet-black eyes and dark brown – almost black – hair that was combed back in a refined way. A few strands of his bangs were out of place, but it suited him well. His eyes were perfectly sculptured to give him an arrogant look, and the corners of his thin lips were vaguely turned up as in a sarcastic smile. He looked wealthy though with his light blue shirt and black trousers. They looked like Gucci or Prada. The man couldn't be more than thirty to thirty five years old.

He had a wealthy and powerful aura around him, and Shuu got a bad feeling. He didn’t like wealthy people even though he himself was one of them. But the wealth degraded people to rotten animals and he had had his share of rotten people in his life - not to mention when he was last assaulted by a middle-aged man who wanted to buy him for a night. It ended with Shuu breaking the man’s nose. Luckily no press found out about it.

“Who are you?” Shuu asked, and the man smiled and stepped inside the room and across the floor to the edge of the bed.

“My name is Kaitani Takahiro”, he answered, and Shuu took a deep breath.

“Where am I?” he then asked and closed his eyes.

“You’re at one of my apartments. You were pretty drunk last night”, the man named Kaitani said, and Shuu opened his eyes again and sat up from the bed.

It was then he realized that he wasn’t wearing any clothes. Even his jewelry and accessories were gone. He wondered where it all was, and more importantly where his silver necklace with the locket he always used to wear was. That empty locket with no photo in it.

“Where are my…” he started to say, but Kaitani interrupted.

“Your clothes are being washed right now. They smelled alcohol and sweat, so I thought I should send them to dry cleaning.”

Shuu maybe made a mistake at thinking badly about the man at first? He seemed to be friendly and helpful.

Maybe not all rich people are that bad after all?, he thought.

“Thank you”, Shuu said. “And I’m so sorry for all the trouble.”

“Don’t mention it”, Kaitani smiled. But there was something about his smile that again gave Shuu bad feelings. “Your clothes should be ready soon. Why not eat breakfast? It’s passed noon but I think lunch is too much for your stomach right now after all that drinking from yesterday.”

“Yes, that would be great”, Shuu answered. But then he remembered he hadn’t introduced himself yet. “Oh, I made you introduce yourself but not doing it myself. I’m…”

“Oh, I know who you are, Ayase Shuu.”

A warning alarm started to ring in Shuu’s head. Even though he was known widely over the nation as the Ayase Shuu something still didn’t feel right about the situation with the man knowing about him. He didn’t remember much from last night, he woke up at a rich man’s place with no clothes on…

“Are you a yakuza?” Shuu asked bluntly and glowered at the man in front of him.

Kaitani laughed and then gave Shuu an arrogant smile. He leaned forward towards him and Shuu backed away until his back hit the headboard.

“Sorry, I’m not a yakuza”, Kaitani smiled and leaned so close that Shuu could feel the man’s breath on his cheeks. “I’m the owner and president of NiCom.”

NiCom? But that’s the leading computer system designer in Japan! Shuu was chocked. The man had to lie.

“You’re lying”, he hissed.

“You think so? Well, it doesn’t matter to me what you think. The important thing is that you understand your situation: You’re never allowed to leave this place, and if you do I’ll come to find you.”

“What?!”

Shuu’s heart started to race. Who did Kaitani think Shuu was? A mere nobody who would not be missed by anyone? He was crazy! If his manager didn’t hear from him soon Manobu would send the whole police force after him without doubt.

“You’re fucked up! Do you think you can come away with this?” Shuu said angrily, and Kaitani laughed.

“I know I can. This building is owned only by me and no one comes around here. It’s one of the old apartment buildings that were set to be demolished. But I bought this and renovated it just for you. There are no windows and only one door that lead out of the building. You can scream and cry how loudly you ever want, but no one will hear you here.”

Kaitani’s smile was so full of malice it made Shuu’s feelings storm inside him. He wanted to run as fast as he could. The adrenaline was pumping through his veins and sharpening his senses.

“But why?! Why go through all this shit to lock me in here?!” Shuu yelled at the man, and Kaitani laughed.

“Don’t you know? I’m your ‘number one fan’. Didn’t you get all my gifts? And all those poor women who followed you around – I got rid of them all for your sake too.”

Suddenly his whole body went cold. All the color drained from his face as he heard the last words that were spelled out from between the man’s attractive lips.

“You … killed them?” Shuu’s weak voice shook and it was hard to breathe. “You’re the serial killer?”

“You got me there, huh?” Kaitani smiled.

“But...”

“It was easy. They didn’t even put up a fight. All I had to do was flash a smile at them and show I was wealthy, and those gold digging bitches came right up to me like scavengers. You sure know how to pick your women.”

Shuu became so frightened he didn’t know what to do. He had almost forgotten how to breathe and blink, and his body started to shake. His brain was trying to process everything and understand what really was happening, but it was impossible.

Am I going to die?
The thought hit him like a battering-ram and made his chest hurt.

Suddenly Kaitani leaned forward and kissed him. Shuu tried immediately to push him off of him, but he was in such a disadvantage that he didn’t manage to even budge the man. His body was weak from last night’s drinking, and he was paralyzed by the thought of being in a serial killer’s possession. He also felt a weird numbness in his limbs.

The man kissing him was a coldblooded murderer and a kidnaper. Would he kill him too? Was the man obsessed by Shuu? He had gotten a lot of expensive gifts recently, but truth be told Shuu didn’t care about even opening packages sent from his fans. The only reason he knew some expensive gifts had arrived was because of his manager Manobu who opened the most of his mail.

So it was him who sent all those things…, he thought, but suddenly he let out a moan.

Kaitani had caressed Shuu’s right nipple and his knee pressed against his groin. What was the man about to do? Rape him?

Shuu took a hold of the man’s shoulders and tried once again push him away with all his might. But his body didn’t have the energy. He couldn’t move much either because of the knee between his legs.  He was so frustrated and scared that he didn’t know what else to do and started to push away Kaitani’s hands. But Kaitani wasn’t giving up and took a tight grip around Shuu’s right wrist to prevent him from doing too much resistance. He gripped his wrist so hard it hurt and Shuu tried to cry out in pain. But the lips sealing his were blocking his voice and it turned into a painful moan.

“Mmh!”

The man’s tongue forced Shuu’s lips apart and began to examine his mouth. It caressed him on the roof of his mouth and made shivers run through his spine. Then it entwined with his tongue and massaged it greedily like he was trying to coax it out of his mouth.

The fingers playing with his nipple, the knee pushing against his most sensitive parts and the tongue violating his mouth mixed with the fear of dying drove him to suddenly bit down on the foreign tongue inside his mouth.

Kaitani pulled instantly away and held his hand over his mouth. He looked down at Shuu with angry eyes, and Shuu met his with eyes filled with fear and defiance. He didn’t want to give in that easily, and not to a man like Kaitani.

“You’re sick!” he yelled, and Kaitani’s expression changed to even darker.

He quickly took a grip of Shuu’s hair and pulled. Shuu landed on his face against the bed’s madras and his head was pushed down so he barely could breathe. He tried to force his way up but the weight on his head was too great. It felt like his skull was about to break in two.

“Let go, you sick bastard! Don’t touch me! Let me go!” he yelled, but Kaitani leaned close to his ear and whispered:

“I didn’t want to resort to this, but you made me angry and you need to be taught your place.”

He could hear the buckle on the man’s belt open and then the fly. Shuu understood what was to become of him, and he started to panic.

“Please, don’t! Don’t do this!” he begged, but Kaitani didn’t listen and put even more weight on his head. Then he felt something warm and hard push against him and he tried to reach back with his arms to stop the man from going further.

“No! Don’t! Don…!”

Suddenly a painful sensation spread throughout his body from his lower parts. “AAGH!” His body went limp with pain and tears rolled down his face. It burned. It felt like his body was going to split in two. The foreign object moved inside him and caused a terrible feeling in both body and soul. He could hear the man’s panting and moans between his own cries of pain, and he had never felt this scared and humiliated before.

Why…?

He still lay face down on the bed with tears in his eyes. He wasn’t crying. The tears just didn’t want to dry up. His body hurt so much he didn’t want to move, and his body had gone cold. Kaitani buttoned his trousers and then went out through the door and came almost immediately back with a towel and tossed it to Shuu, who didn’t catch it and it landed on his back.

“Take a shower. You smell like shit,” the man said coldly and then left the room.

Shuu looked at the door where the man had been standing just a few seconds ago, and when he was sure the man wasn’t coming back he slowly sat up and whimpered when the piercing pain coursed through his body once again. He barely managed to stand up, and when he did something warm flowed down his thighs. When he looked down he saw red blood mixed with the other man’s body fluids. He instantly wanted to break down and cry.

Calm down. Don’t break down. Just calm down, he thought and took deep breaths.

He reached for the towel and slowly walked to the bathroom door next to the room. He hurried to close the door behind him, but there was no lock on it. He cursed and then sighed. Suddenly he felt nauseous and hurried to the sink and vomited. The experience of fear and rape had made his whole body protest. After calming down again he stepped into the shower, and as soon as he felt the water soak him he started to panic again.

He was trapped in an apartment, kidnapped by a serial killer, and just been raped by him. There wasn’t probably any way out and no matter how much he screamed for help no one would hear him. What should he do?

He curled up to a ball in one of the corners in the shower and hid his face against his knees.

A lot of minutes went by, and soon the door opened and the shower curtain was pulled open. Shuu didn’t want to look up at the man and kept his face hidden from him.

“Hurry up. Or are you trying to drown yourself?” he asked sarcastically, but Shuu didn’t answer. “Don’t make me angry. Hurry up and get finished.” Shuu didn’t reply this time either. Kaitani sighed and took hold of the shampoo bottle. “Stupid brat,” he muttered and started to massage some shampoo into Shuu’s hair.

After being washed up Kaitani pulled Shuu up on his feet. His body still hurt and Shuu leaned against the corner and pressed his back against it. He still didn’t look Kaitani in the eyes, and when the man put the shower on again and washed him his body started to shake. He was so frightened he didn’t know what to do with himself.

“Are you going to kill me?” he quietly asked with his eyes still averted when Kaitani finished the washing.

The man laughed.

“No. You’re my precious treasure, and you’ll stay here forever.”

Shuu met Kaitani’s gaze.

“Please let me go home.”

“Dry up and go back to bed,” was the answer he got, and Kaitani left the bathroom.

Shuu stood a while in the shower and stared out at thin air. He didn’t have any rights inside this prison. What had he done to deserve this? Why did this happen? How could he escape?

He stepped out from the shower and wrapped the big towel around his aching body. Then he stood there and thought of what to do next. Should he just try and find the door out from this place and check if he could open it?

All these different thoughts of escape ran through his head, and again he had forgotten about the time. Kaitani interrupted his thoughts and asked from the other side of the door is he was finishing up, and the handle was pulled down. Shuu quickly grabbed the handle and pushed the door shut when it was about to open.

“I’m sorry! I’ll finish up quickly. So please…” he said with a trembling voice.

“Very well.”

Days turned to weeks. Shuu had given up on the thought of escape. He had tried countless of times, but he didn’t come further than to the exit door to the apartment. The apartment didn’t have any windows what so ever, and so he couldn’t attract someone’s attention either. He had once tried to escape through the ventilation system, but when he got the ventilation grill off, his heart sunk in his chest. It was too narrow for him.

Kaitani left the apartment to go to work, and sometimes he returned really late at night after some drinking with his colleagues or customers. He seemed to live at this apartment, and the only time Shuu had some time for himself was when Kaitani wasn’t at home. It was the only time he got to do whatever he wanted to do: watch TV, read magazines, play videogames, cook and whatever he could find to pass the time.

But there was one thing he felt blessed about, and it was Kaitani’s cooking. The only thing that stood in his way of felling joy when eating was that he was trapped in the man’s cage. Kaitani was really talented at cooking, and sometimes Shuu wished that the situation was more like a friendly one where they could sit down and enjoy food as friends. Truth be told, Kaitani was actually very nice as a person once you got to know him, but if he got angry he could be like a demon.

Shuu had also stopped resisting when Kaitani wanted to go to bed with him. At first he had been scared of being hurt again when Kaitani kissed him and caressed his body, but in time he learned that if he didn’t resist and make him angry it actually could feel very nice. He actually had started to enjoy it even though he still didn’t like the idea. He felt as if he was being brainwashed by all the things that Kaitani made him go through. And he was still scared of getting killed by the man. He hadn’t forgotten that the man was a coldblooded murderer.

One evening they were sitting on the sofa watching a variety-show and eating a pizza and drinking beer. Kaitani leaned closer to Shuu and kissed him on hit temple and nibbled on his ear.

“Hey, you’re getting drunk. Stop that!” Shuu sighed and tried to push the drunken man away, but Kaitani didn’t budge. Shuu didn’t dare to push too hard either if it would anger the other man, so he gave in and prepared himself for what was coming. “Shouldn’t we go to the bedroom?”

“No, let’s stay here and have some fun. It’s getting boring in the bed and shower,” Kaitani complained.

“Isn’t that a good thing? If you get bored with me maybe you’ll throw me out?” Shuu said half jokingly.

“No, because if I get bored with you I’ll cut your throat while I’m fucking you,” Kaitani answered as he was kissing Shuu’s neck. He was serious.

Shuu felt a shiver run through his spine and he felt urged to please the man so he wouldn’t get killed. He was still afraid of him. He put his arms around Kaitani’s shoulders and pulled him closer, and Kaitani kissed his neck more and more greedily. He pushed himself against Shuu to make him fall back on the sofa, and Shuu obeyed and lay down on his back with Kaitani over him weighing him down against the soft luxurious cushions.

Kaitani hurriedly spread Shuu’s legs apart and pressed his groin against the younger man’s while kissing him deeply and passionately. He pushed hard until Shuu let out a yelp, and pulled back. Then pushed hard again and pulled back, as if they were having sex with their clothes still on.

Shuu could feel how hard Kaitani was when he pushed his groin against his. It made his body hot and fevered while thoughts of Kaitani’s member moving inside him made him drunk of excitement. Kaitani was very skilled at sex too, and Shuu had no chance against his skills. Every time he was held in Kaitani’s arms it felt like he was melting like honey.

Kaitani opened Shuu’s shirt with hurried hands and almost ripped it off him. The shirt was tossed to the floor and hands continued to pull on the rest of the clothing until Shuu lay naked in front of the man.

“Hey. Blow me.” Kaitani whispered.”I’ve always wondered how that pretty little mouth of yours feels like.”

“Why would I do something disgusting as that?” Shuu muttered back, and Kaitani’s gaze shifted to a little darker shade.

“You could always try and push you luck, if you want to. Or do you want me to cut your throat while I fuck you? I think your warm blood would feel incredible,” he said with a smile on his lips that didn’t reach his eyes.

Shuu knew it wasn’t an empty threat. He stared at him for a few seconds before he made up his mind and nod his head.

“Good boy,” Kaitani whispered and kissed him deep, then sat up and waited.

Shuu hesitated a little while until he got up from the sofa and sat down on the floor between Kaitani’s knees. He didn’t really know what to do, so he tried to remember what the girls he had hooked up with did with him.

“Take it out by yourself,” Kaitani said with a voice dripping of lust.

Shuu felt disgusted but did as he was told. He slowly took a hold of the fly on Kaitani’s pants and opened it. He could see Kaitani’s member already being rock hard under the fabric, and he swallowed hard. This was his first time doing something like this, and he wasn’t really up to it either. But he hesitantly took Kaitani’s pulsing member out of the fabric and then stared at it.

“Come on,” the other man urged and took a hold of Shuu’s head and pushed it closer.

“All right already!” Shuu shouted and pushed Kaitani’s hands away. “I’ll do it!”

Just do it and get it over with, he thought and closed his eyes and lowered his head until he could feel the tip of Kaitani’s member on his lips. He then slowly opened his mouth and let it inside.

“Oh, you’re so warm inside,” Kaitani sighed and relaxed against the sofa. He put one hand on Shuu’s head again and urged him to continue.

Shuu tried to imitate the girls who had gone down on him countless times before, and he started to move his head up and down on Kaitani’s shaft. It was big and his jaws began to hurt, and it tasted salty. But it wasn’t that bad he had imagined it. It actually felt nice when he heard Kaitani moan somewhere above him.

He was so surprised of himself. During this short period of weeks he had done so much he never thought he would ever do, but now it all felt normal. The only thing that didn’t feel normal was Kaitani’s behavior and the way he threatened Shuu and kept him prisoner. But at the same time he felt utterly humiliated for being brainwashed to all that what he had become; a lowlife whore.

Kaitani pushed his member deeper and deeper inside Shuu’s mouth, and soon it became really hard to breathe. Shuu tried to pull away but Kaitani’s fingers had buried themselves in Shuu’s hair and kept him in place.

Then he suddenly pushed Shuu’s head so low that he was forced to take Kaitani’s entire member as deep as it would go. Tears sprung up in his eyes as he choked. He panicked and clawed at Kaitani’s hands, and then he felt something being released in his throat and Kaitani pulled out his member. Shuu coughed and was about to throw up, but it quickly calmed down.

“Why the fuck did you do that for?!” he yelled with a hoarse voice.

“Come up here.”

Kaitani ignored Shuu’s complaining, marking the position which Shuu had. He was just a toy – a pretty toy for Kaitani to play with.

Shuu stood up from the floor and Kaitani removed the last of his clothes and pulled Shuu against him. He placed Shuu upon his thighs and kissed him deep again and again. At the same time he caressed his back from top to bottom and then let his finger slip down between Shuu’s buttocks. He played with the entrance and then thrust his finger inside Shuu’s body. Shuu arched his back and yelped as he gripped hard on Kaitani’s shoulders.

“Aah! Hahh!” he panted and moved his hips a little.

“Now where’s that good spot that makes you squirm and cry?” Kaitani whispered, and Shuu’s cheeks blushed.

“Shut up! Ah!”

Kaitani’s finger searched for that special spot in Shuu, and it didn’t take long until it was found.

“Oh!”

“There it is,” Kaitani smiled and pushed harder against it. “Cry out as loud as you want. Let me hear you when you enjoy yourself.”

Electricity was coursing through Shuu’s body, and it became limp with pleasure. He fell forward against Kaitani and pressed himself against the other man. It felt so good he thought he was about to burst.

“Aah! Mmh! I’m … melting! Oh!”

He moved his hips in an obscene manner as if begging for more, and Kaitani listened to his request and pushed in two more fingers. He leaned forward and circled Shuu’s nipple with his tongue, and his other hand played with Shuu’s member – which had grown hard and wet. Shuu was so hot his head spun and he thought he was going to lose his mind.

“More…!” he begged, and Kaitani chuckled.

“Then put it in yourself. Show me how much you want it,” he said quietly.

Shuu didn’t hesitate. He moved his hips in place and held Kaitani’s member against his opening. He then lowered his body and forced it inside. Kaitani’s member was wet and hot, and it slipped inside with ease. Shuu didn’t wait for his body to adjust. He began moving his hips so violently that his body felt like it was about to break. But he didn’t care. It felt so good he wanted all that he could take.

“You’re a wild one tonight,” Kaitani smiled wickedly and responded to Shuu’s movements.

“Aaah! Nnnhh!”

He moved so fast his legs went numb. Shuu’s body was in an uproar but he didn’t listen to it. He just wanted to move and move over Kaitani’s hardness and take every drop of pleasure he could get. It tingled everywhere and his voice and panting echoed in the apartment.

Suddenly Kaitani stopped his movements with his hand on Shuu’s hips and then flipped Shuu down on the sofa on his back under Kaitani, and then he thrust in him with such violent motion that Shuu cried out. He continued thrusting and soon Shuu’s body adjusted.

“Break me!” Shuu cried between his moans, and Kaitani moved harder. The sound of their flesh pounding at each other echoed throughout the room. Shuu lost his mind over the feeling and wet sounds their bodies made. He was nothing more than an animal in heat.

They continued for a long time. They did it again and again, and soon they moved into the bedroom where they continued until Shuu lost his consciousness.

He woke up and felt the numbness all over his body. It was a pain to even lift a finger, and he yawned and sighed. He felt something in his left hand and when he looked at it he saw his silver locket. He was happy about getting it back, and when he opened it to look at its emptiness he quickly sat up and threw it away to the foot of the bed.

Inside the locket was a photo of Kaitani. It was a handsome photo, but it was the last photo he wanted to have in the locket.

Hesitantly he took the locket in his hand again and looked at the photo. Kaitani was smiling a heartwarming smile that could make any woman weak in the knees.

... Make me weak in my knees?, he thought.

“You like it? I thought it was sad that the locket was empty, so I put in a picture there,” a voice said from the door-opening, and Shuu looked up at the real life Kaitani.

“This locket was the only thing that my biological parents left to me when they left me at the orphanage when I was newborn. They didn’t put any photos of themselves in it. It felt like it was a taunt against me. It was as if they were saying that I deserved to be alone,” Shuu explained and caressed the silver locket with his finger.

“You didn’t live with a foster family, right? “

Shuu shook his head.

“I tended to hide every time some parents came to the orphanage to adopt a child. I didn’t want to be hurt again so I turned up being the black sheep of the orphanage. All the other kids hated me. So when I turned eighteen I left the orphanage and started working as a host. I didn’t want to toss the locket away even if I hated it. If I one day would meet my biological parents I would show them this locket. In the locket I would have the picture of the most important person I had; the one I loved. I would show my parents that I could find love without them guiding me.”

“But you haven’t found someone like that?” Kaitani asked, and Shuu shook his head.

“I learned that I’m incapable of loving someone. The locket didn’t end up having a picture of my true love in it. It ended up having a picture of a psychopath and serial killer in it. And don’t forget the kidnapper and rapist too. Funny, isn’t it?” Shuu said and laughed a sad laugh.

“You didn’t have to put it that way,” Kaitani muttered.

“Well it is the truth after all. I’ll be rotting away in this cage and die like a brainwashed whore in the arms of a… UGH!”

Kaitani’s hands took a tight grip around Shuu’s throat.

“How dare you say that?! Haven’t I taken good care of you?! You’ve gotten everything you wanted without a thought, and I’ve been holding you the way you like it during the nights! I’ve made you realize your true self and fulfilled your desires! What more could you ask for?! You’re mine and shall be mine forever!”

Shuu didn’t know what to do. He couldn’t breathe and his brain wasn’t working. He reached out for something that could help him and he touched something on the bed table that felt like a pen. He grabbed it and without thinking he hit Kaitani with it. Suddenly his vision became red. He had gotten something in his eyes, and when he wiped it off with his fingers he saw blood on his hands. When he looked up at Kaitani he saw him holding his hand against his throat with a shocked expression on his face. Shuu still held the pen in his hand.

Kaitani tried to grab Shuu again but Shuu took the pen and stabbed him in the throat again. He was suddenly so frightened that he didn’t know what to do more than use whatever method he could to keep himself safe.

The thought hit him that this was his chance to escape. If Kaitani died he would be free and he wouldn’t need to humiliate himself anymore. So he listened to his instincts and stabbed Kaitani again and again. Blood was spattered everywhere and tears rolled down Shuu’s cheeks. He cried and screamed while stabbing, and then Kaitani’s body went limp and stopped moving.

Manabu lay in bed reading a book when the doorbell rang and someone pounded at the door. He hurried up and checked the loophole on the door and saw nothing. He opened the door and saw a weak Shuu sitting against the wall next to the doorway covered in a blanket over hit head.

“Shuu?!” Manabu sat down and took him in his arms. “Where the hell have you been?! Everyone has been searching for you everywhere!”

“Take me inside. Please,” Shuu whispered, and Manabu helped him up. It was then he noticed the blood.

When the door was closed Shuu fell down on his knees and cried. Manabu sat down in front of him and tried to talk to him.

“What has happened? Who’s blood is this? Where have you been this past month?”

“I was kidnapped and held prisoner by the president of NiCom; Kaitani Takahiro. He locked me away in an apartment without windows and raped me,” Shuu cried. “He’s dead. I had to kill him. I killed him!”

Shuu cried even louder and Manabu just stared at him, shocked.

“I have to call the police and notify them. This is going to be a long process though,” he said, and Shuu calmed down a little and nodded.

“Call them and tell them to come here. I’ll explain everything,” Shuu said with a shaky voice.

Manabu was about to pick up his cell phone when Shuu whispered:

“I’m sorry. I’m so sorry for coming here in this state. I just … didn’t know where else to go…”

Manabu looked at him with sad eyes and nodded.

“Don’t worry about it.”

“I’m so terribly sorry…”

Shuu woke up by a call. His phone was ringing and he checked the caller ID. It was his psychologist.

“Yeah?” he said when he answered.

His psychologist talked to him about his feelings against Kaitani and what he had done. She then said that maybe it would help if Shuu visited the place where he had been held captive, and she convinced him to do it in the end. She would arrange an escort who had the key to the place.

After two hours he arrived with his escort to the building where he had been held prisoner. He looked up at the building and saw with surprise how rundown the building was. He didn’t remember how the building looked like when he had escaped. The only thing he had thought about was to get to Manabu’s place as soon as possible and call for help.

“Can you wait here? I want to go up there alone,” Shuu asked the woman who was his escort, and she nodded.

“Here’s the key,” she said with her beautiful voice and held out a key.

Shuu took it and went inside the building. He remembered he had run down a lot of stairs when he had escaped, and walked slowly up the staircase. He reached level four and recognized the door in front of him.

“There it is…” he whispered to himself and opened the door.

The familiar look of the apartment made his heart ache. All the stuff was still there. Everything was as he had left it. It was here where he had killed a person. He hesitated but went inside the bedroom to check if there was any blood left. The bed was still covered in old dried blood. He felt his stomach ache and he felt nauseous.

Suddenly he felt a cold wind against his cheek, and when he looked over to the source he screamed and backed away and stumbled against the foot of the bed and fell over on top of the dried blood.

“I told you that you would be mine forever,” a husky voice said.

“Y-you’re… Kaitani?” Shuu was so shocked and scared that his voice had a hard time finding the way out through his throat.

In front of him stood something he would call a ghost. But ghosts didn’t exist! Or did they? Why was Kaitani’s ghost standing in front of him with that wicked smile on his lips?

“Calm down and relax. Let me help you,” Kaitani said and pulled the bed sheet over Shuu to cover him from head to toe. “I’ll make you mine again, and this time you’ll be mine for all eternity no matter how much you scream and cry.”

“W-what are you…?”

Suddenly something stabbed his throat and slashed it open. Kaitani had killed him. He knew it! But that wasn’t possible! He was a ghost! No, ghosts didn’t exist!

“I’m so sorry, Ayase-san. I felt that maybe I just should come up with you so you wouldn’t… AYASE-SAN! What have you done?!”

The sheet was pulled off his face and he could see her panicked expression.

“Why did you do this?!” she cried and picked up her phone to call for help at the same time she was holding her hand against his throat.

Shuu tried to look what had happened and when his eyes fell on a knife he realized he was the one holding it.

But didn’t Kaitani do this? Didn’t he come back from the dead for revenge?, he thought. Or was it me who did this?

The knife became too heavy and fell down on the floor with a clatter, and he felt his consciousness drift away.

Was Kaitani really dead before the ending? Did he actually kill Kaitani?
