The Swan Prince

Okay, so here is a pretty long one this time.

My inspiration was the story of Swan Lake. Actually I saw the Black Swan movie not too long ago, and that made me want to watch the old animated interpretation of the Swan Lake story (The Swan Princess), and I found it so disgustingly heterosexual that I had to make a yaoi version of it! xD

I also found Odette – the heroine of the story – really annoying because she was portrayed like a weak woman. You know; that kind of woman who’s stupid and can’t do anything without her hero. So I decided to switch the roles a little and made the uke to the hero, and the seme to the one who needed to be saved. I also made the villain to an uke. It turned out pretty funny and I just couldn’t wait to get the story finished!

My story is about a thief who encounters a prince turned to a swan during one night after he had been stealing from the dreadful but beautiful sorcerer Rothaar. He loves money, and is a greedy little fella’, and he comes up with a evil plan of how to get to the prince’s royal gold. At the same time he has to hide from the evil Rothaar who had kidnapped the prince and cast a the swan-spell on him.

The names of the characters were inspired from the original story. The main character in the real Swan Lake is named Odette, but my character is named Oda (It’s a pet name to Odette). And the prince in the real story is actually named Sigfried, but I didn’t like that name at all so I adopted the name to the prince from the animated version, and named him Derik.

The villain in the real story is named Rothbart. It’s actually a name made of German words for “red” (“rot”) and “beard” (“bart”), meaning “red beard”. But my uke-villain doesn’t have any beard, so I named him Rothaar instead, where “haar” means “hair” in the German language. And so I gave him red hair too to try to stick as close to the original story as possible.

Hope you enjoy it at least as much as I enjoyed writing it! xD

(Ignore the old hag in the background...)

It was nighttime in the dark and haunted forest. Only the wind could be heard and the quiet breaths of a blonde haired boy who was sneaking around a very old castle. The castle wasn’t so big, and it hadn’t been easy to sneak into it to steal the jewelry he now had in his backpack. He had dark clothes that only a thief would wear, and he had a small knife and some other useful tools in a pouch which hung on two small leather belts around his right thigh.

His clear blue eyes wandered over the castle grounds and wondered where he should make his escape. There was a huge lake next to the castle, and he also saw some kind of a rundown garden which seemed to be as old as the castle. He decided to sneak through the garden.

He had luckily a small body build which made his sneaking a lot easier; he didn’t have to worry about his steps being too heavy. He was light as a feather and had a very impressive skill in acrobatics.

Hehe! No wonder I can steal anything I want!, he thought with a priggish smile on his lips.

Oda was only seventeen years old, but he was greedier than the prince who ruled the country. But the prince had gone missing a few months ago though, and now the kingdom was handled by the royal court until they could find their beloved prince. But Oda didn’t care for the prince. He just cared about money, and he would do anything to get it. That’s why it had resulted in him choosing the profession of a thief. He was a damn good one too with the reputation of being the sneakiest brat in the whole kingdom.

He sneaked through bushes and behind trees. The moonlight was obscured by the clouds, which made it even darker. He had a little hard time seeing where he was going, but soon he came out to an opening. The ground was covered with old and cracked stone slabs, and the opening was surrounded by a low and rundown stonewall. He checked if he was visible from the castle, and he wasn’t. But for safety he stayed in the bushes.

“Haah! Finally a breather!” he sighed and sat down on the grass next to a tree to take a look at his booty. The clouds began dispersing and the moonlight showed through. “Ah, great timing!”

Suddenly he heard a small splashing sound, and he held his breath in surprise. Slowly and carefully he looked over the bushes, and there he saw a white swan bathing in the moonlit water. It had beautiful silver wings.

“A swan? Here?” Oda asked himself. He hadn’t seen a swan for a long time.

Suddenly it began glowing around the swan, and a beautiful sphere of water covered it. There were sparkles and golden light dazzling the surroundings, and then the water sphere collapsed and there stood the most handsome man Oda had ever seen in his entire life. The man was about 20 to 25 years old, and he had dark brown hair and very seductive eyes.

Hyakujitsu no Bara (Maiden Rose) Fanfiction 18+

This is an old fanfic I wrote a few years ago. It is one of the most popular pages on my other blog where I posted it at first.

I wrote it as an alternative ending to the chapter that was out back then before the story continued in the manga. It was the continuation from when Claus got shot in the train and it exploded. I was so frustrated that I just had to write an ending to that one. LOL!

So because it's in english and it's my very first english yaoi story, I wanted to post it in this blog too so I have everything in one place.

Well, for you who have read that chapter may know that it ended with Klaus being shot by that Berkut-bastard. And the bomb went off too. Oh my! How did they survive?! And Taki's battalion was infiltrated by euroteans so the engineering corps didn't answer Taki's call. So Taki and his men had to hurry to the bridge-head so they could stop the eurotean train.  (O_o)

My continued story begins right after the fighting and stuff. (I'm not good at writing war stuff ya know...) And I haven't given it a title, 'cuz I don't know what I should call this one. But Anyway... Here it is:

Taki felt like the whole world was spinning. He was tired and exhausted. The fight was over and he could now take a rest. He sat on his knees in the cold sand and shook because of the freezing wind. His coat and sword was tainted with blood, and sweat drops rolled down his temples. Berkut lay on the ground in-front of him with open wounds inflicted by Takis sword, but he was still alive.

"Taki-sama! Are you alright?" Moriya asked with concern as he ran towards him.

"I'm fine." Taki answered - out of breath. "Take him to custody." he then said and looked at Berkut.

"Are you sure you're fine?" Suguri asked worriedly, but Taki just nodded firmly.

Moriya and a soldier lifted Berkut up and started to carry him away when he said with a quiet voice:

"Your knight... Do you think he's alive?" He laughed. "I shot him in the chest, and right after that the cart where he was in blew up. Do you think he survived that?"

Taki felt like the world came crumbling down upon him. Klaus ... dead? No, that couldn't be! Suguri placed his hand on Taki's shoulder and looked worried at him. After all - he knew how Taki felt about Klaus. He knew Klaus wasn't just Taki's precious knight.

"Shut up, you vermin!" Moriya yelled and hit Berkut in the gut. They carried him away.

"Klaus..."

Taki's voice died. He couldn't think straight and all he could do was look at the train and hope he'll see Klaus come out through the door to one of those ghostly carts with his usual arrogant smile on his face. But the train was dead quiet. Nothing moved inside it.

"Klaus...!"

His throat started to become too tight for him to breathe. He held his hand against his chest and leaned forward as he needed to vomit. His heart ached so much he couldn't describe it.

"Taki-sama! What's wrong?" Suguri asked and sat down beside him.

"I ... can't breathe!"

"Calm down, Taki-sama! I'm sure Klaus is fine!"

"I can't ... calm..."

Tears rolled down his cheeks as he tried to stop himself from crying out loud. He couldn't help himself. The forced breathing made him dizzy, and soon he fell to the ground unconscious.

"Taki-sama!"
